Los Angeles, CA (DTLA) - Onsite (potential for hybrid after 30+ days)

A leading national law firm is seeking a highly detail-oriented Rate Analyst to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with attorneys, leadership, and cross-functional teams to manage and analyze client and matter rate structures across a national platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with firm and rate committee policies
  • Manage and implement client rate increases, including enforcement of minimum rate structures
  • Support rate re-opening protocols
  • Conduct detailed rate analyses and maintain accurate, up-to-date rate data
  • Partner with attorneys and internal teams on rate-related matters and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a rate analyst, finance, or legal billing role
  • Experience within a law firm or professional services environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of legal billing systems (Aderant Expert Rates experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manage large datasets
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
